Oh my God, Mathieu Amalric!
After watching The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, it’s easy to get excited about his stuff.
I’d befriend The Good.
If I was going to befriend any film character in real life, it’d be The Good out of The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.
Why? Two reasons.
1. He’s disturbingly proficient at what he does, he’s smart and he’s got a super-cool dress sense. The Bad and The Ugly are sweating, sick sides of the ol’ Wild West, but The Good is a reminder of why we’re enchanted by it.
2. He’s principled, and not without complexity. Rather than being a whiny moralist who never actually makes any moral decisions (or, alternatively, a cold hard utilitarian who applies their own strict moral code to any situation, regardless of context) he KNOWS how to act right in any scenario. He’s the sort of person you want to be good around, not just because you’d be scared of him otherwise, but because you want to be more like him.
… yeah.
Shit
Thunderbolt and lightning, very very fright’ning me
…
Just kidding. I love storms.

I don’t like reblogging, but… FUCK YES.

REBLOG FROM TUMBLR HISTORY #2
I’ve already berated the founder of the No Cussing Club, so this sort of speaks for itself.
OK, Tumblr just became doubly awesome, thanks to that bar at the bottom.
Ignore the picture. Or, don’t, whatever.

Awesome Reblog of the Day #2
Because I’d rather give visitors to my site an epileptic fit than mild titillation on first viewing.
There’s something about this style of art that really appeals to me - I think it’s the continual reappraisal of a person or a place from more than one angle - like it’s somewhere between the medium of static images and film.
Movie Poster of the Day: Brand new Where the Wild Things Are poster.
Let the wild rumpus start already!

I had no idea that there was a desert….
u guise.
omg.
:D
Since I found out who the hell she was, and got over the absolute hell that was watching Hard Candy, I’ve always thought that Ellen Page is a testament to how cool girls always end up looking more attractive than the girls that make you go “wow” when they enter the room. Not so sure about the latest film, Whip It, which this poster obviously advertises, but it’s probably worth a spin.
